I first started shooting when at 16 my art teacher told me I was no good at drawing and handed me a camera. I haven't looked back since.

I went on to study art photography at Manchester School of Art, and have since illustrated several short stories with my images. I have also completed a masters in creative writing to marry my love of photography and literature, and I will soon be publishing my first novel. 

Since graduating in 2021 I have been freelance assisting some of the best photographers in the North and picking up my own clients as I go. Assisting has made me fall in love with light. One of my mentors once called photography 'painting with light' which has stuck with me. I spend every spare moment practising my light painting.
